Essay Template:
1. Introductory Paragraph: Restate the question and use it to create a topic sentence. Introduce your main ideas.
2. 1st Supporting Paragraph: Expand one of your ideas from above supporting your topic sentence. Can start first sentence with "First,"
3. 2nd Supporting Paragraph: Expand one of your ideas from above supporting your topic sentence. Can start first sentence with "Furthermore,"
4. 3rd Supporting Paragraph: Expand one of your ideas from above supporting your topic sentence. Can start first sentence with "Finally,"
5. Conclusion Paragraph: Restate your topic sentence and give a 2-3 sentence summary of your supporting paragraphs. Can start your first sentence with "In conclusion,"
All paragraphs must have 3-7 sentences. All essays and paragraphs must show organization. If you use the above template you will have an organized essay.
